What is better than home-made bread for breakfast? When it is still warm just out of the oven… My husband made some a few days ago and I have been lucky to watch him preparing and help for topping! For the flour, we used a fluid one and for the yeast, we have chosen a fast one. Ingredients: 250 g flour 5 to 7 g salt 160 g water 5 g yeast Recipe: In a mixing bowl, place de flour and salt. Add the yeast and mix it. Add the water bit by bit kneading but keep a few for later (0.5 fl oz). Knead for 20-30 minutes, then, add…

Cabbage & Quinoa Salad
Quinoa is super cool to use in salads. This one with cabbages and tomatoes has a nice taste and is full of colors, perfect for spring meals! There are different kinds of quinoa and mine is white but you can use another one like the black. Same for the cabbage, I have chosen chinese and red cabbage but you can also add some white one. If you want it to be vegan, juste replace the Mozzarella with Tofu. Ingredients for 6 bowls (starters) or 2 plates (mains): 1 cup quinoa 4 cups water 4 chinese cabbage leafs 6 red cabbage leafs 2 yellow hairloom tomatoes 1 mozzarella 1 spring onion…

Vegan Matcha Maleines
I am not Vegan but I enjoy trying new recipes and tastes. So I looked for a Vegan recipe with Matcha and found one for a cake. I changed some of the proportions and ingredients a few times before finding the best way to make it. For example, the original recipe is sugar free so I added some. As you will see in the pictures, I tried with milk rice and sunflower oil, but let me advice you that it is not the better way to make it! Milk rice is tasteless and sunflower oil too strong. I changed it for coconut milk (sooo good) and grape seed oil (perfect…

Breakfast Egg Muffins
I am pretty sure you already know how to make Breakfast Egg Muffins. Those little things are just way too easy and quick to prepare. You can vary the taste by adding whatever you want inside it depending on the season and what you still have in your fridge. Even if they usually are served for breakfast, I enjoy to have them for lunch or even dinner… Fresh and healthy, you can eat them hot or cold. Here, I served it for dinner with chinese cabbage and some spring onion cooked in a pan for 5 minutes at medium temperature. I seasoned it with pepper and 1 tablespoon Maggi liquid…

Okonomiyaki
Do you know Okonomiyaki? This a super Japanese recipe from Osaka and Hiroshima in which you can add a lot of ingredients to vary the taste. This is my husband who discovered it a few months ago (yes he loves to cook too, lucky me). In this one, we chose to use bacon and parmesan but you can make it veggie and dairy free if you do not use those ingredients. The dough remains the same but the vegetables you add can vary as you like and this is what I like in this recipe. Thanks to this, you can do it all year long using fresh and seasonal products.…

Oatmeal Cookies
Do you love cookies? I do! Especially oatmeal cookies… It is a very good way to start your day with a lot of energy in a small amount of food. Easy to do, I chose organic oatmeal and eggs for a better taste and do prefer regular salted butter to unsalted one. I know there are a lot of recipes for this kind of cookies but I found in this one the perfect taste for me. You can also freeze your cookies if you want to keep some ready for further days. Quite simple: follow all the recipe but stop yourself before baking; when your dough balls are ready, place…
