Smoked Salmon Salad

A few years ago, my husband and I combined smoked salmon with mint leaves and grapefruit to preapre kind of a carpaccio. It was so good that we decided to convert it into a fresh and tasty summer salad! You can also add some shrimps or tomatoes, it is really good also.

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 4 smoked salmon slices
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • 1 small salad
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds


Wash and cut your salad, then, place it in your plates. Cut the salmon in small pieces and add it to the salad. Using a knife, remove the grapefruit segments, cut them in two parts and place them on the salad. Press the remaining grapefruit skin above the plates to use the juice. Chop the mint leaves and pour them on the salad with poppy seeds, olive oil and black pepper. Your meal is ready to be served!
