  • Autumn-Winter 2020

This year, I really wanted to try an autumn and winter garden. Since we are living in a place where winters are not really cold, I thought that it could be a good thing to get some vegetables for this season. Moreover, for the very first time, one of our banana tree got some bananas! They didn’t get big enough to be eaten but it was so cool to have them in the tree! In late September, we had our last tomatoes. After them, we decided to plant coliflowers and broccolis on this side of the garden, separated by some leeks. We also planted some spinach where we used to…

  • Summer 2020

Every year I enjoy to publish a little post about my garden in the end of summer. As you can see, this year, our banana trees are bigger than ever, it feels so good to have them here, especially in 2020 because it feels like we are on vacation even staying at home. We also extended our vegetable garden by adding more planters and creating a soil zone for planting. With those new places, we added…

  • Gurou

It is not always easy to find 100% veggie restaurants in small and medium size cities. Even if eat everything, I am always curious about trying new meals, textures and tastes, veggies meals are already part of my everyday diet. So, when I heard about Gurou, my curiosity and love of good food pushed me to discover the place. Downtown La Rochelle, in the covered market neighbourhood, the restaurant that started to sell its food by street bike is a very cool place. A bright small shop where meals suggested are wrote down by chalk stick on a slate, with an open kitchen from where smells of veggie burgers, sweet…

  • My Garden

Do you enjoy gardening? As you may have seen in the “About Me” section, I spent my childhood in the country and have been lucky to do some gardening as a child with my family. I loved those moments and hope to go back to the country one day to have my own big garden. Meanwhile, I am so lucky to have a small place to grow some herbs to cook, vegetables and fruits! For the herbs, I bought organic ones. I have basil, chives and parsley. I let them close to my door so I just have to walk a few steps from my kitchen to use them quickly…
